We are back after a two week break with the European leg about to come to an end this month as the boys tour the UK. London gets us kicked off at the O2, with back to back shows on the 5th and 6th as well as a later show scheduled on the 18th. This year has been great with some ridiculously good sets and more than a few nice surprises throughout such as Zephyr, Search and Fire. RHCPtv5/Mark has also hinted the boys are also planning to bring If You Want Me To Stay back this tour, most probably somewhere on the upcoming US leg, which is too awesome. Wouldn't be surprised to see it pop up once in these final UK shows if that is the case though. If anyone is going to these shows, have a great time and enjoy!

First night was standard, second night's set was very very good. Interesting to note the intention to omit Cali from the set on both nights...

Agree about the set lists. Maybe the first night was so standard to play it safe after a short break. But the second night, Hey, Parallel Universe, Aeroplane, Suck My Kiss, I Could Have Lied, that's pretty incredible.
I really wonder how much the band realizes the status of songs among the bigger fans. UTB is switched with Soul and I Could Have Lied, Raindance Maggie for Hey or other rare songs,.. and while it seems to be a normal switch in their set list templates for them, it's the difference between standard and the best night of your life for us.

I agree 100%! For the more hardcore, fanatical fan - the second night is seen as insanely good, close to a dream set from the group of songs that have been played so far. I just had a quick look at reddit to see the comments on these two gigs, and there are a fair few people complaining there aren't enough hits on that second night. A good example as why I classify that sub as something more suited to the general fan, which is still cool and nothing wrong with it. It does provide some great tidbits from time to time. But I mean if you're complaining about that second night.....
Theres probably plans to implement some more songs into the mix such as If You Want Me To Stay, but its anybody's guess as to when they'll pop up. Theres a few songs from last tour i'd like to see pop up a few times again such as Monarchy, Breaking the Girl and Charlie. I think Monarchy as an alternative to Samurai in the encore would work well. Angels is then just a main set song rather than an encore opener, which i think suits better.
