I'm starting this thread here now. I will keep you posted as much as possible on what could be going on in the world in terms of earthquakes and even volcanic activity. So far, a magnitude 6.3 hit the Kuril Islands region yesterday. There is now a high threat for something very serious going on somewhere in the world so far. It could be any moment, any day, or sometime within the next 2-3 weeks. There could even be a magnitude 8 or larger quake somewhere. Greece, Japan, Central America are some of the places that might be under the gun. I just made a blog post addressing the latest watch.
There is also still a high chance for magnitude 3 or larger quakes in Southern California anytime now or within the next week or two so far.

So far, a lot of earthquakes are happening in the world simultaneously right now, though nothing large yet.

So far, more moderate earthquakes have occurred in parts of the world over the past 8 hours. The watch continues. There is still a high chance for major earthquake activity going on in the world somewhere. Something major could happen any moment or any day now or it might not be for another several weeks at this point.
So far, it has slightly been revving up here in Southern California in terms of activity. There may be more going on here today in Southern California w/ chance of mag. 3+, but there also may not yet.

The chances for more seismic activity with the chance for magnitude 3+ quakes in Southern California are increasing more now.
The watch for more dangerous earthquake activity in parts of the world continues.

Magnitude 4.2 - Southwestern Kashmir
Magnitude 5.5 - South of the Fiji Islands
A mag. 4.2 quake hit the Kashmir region. Parts of Northern India and surrounding areas are one of the places that might be under the gun. The chances for major earthquake activity in the world somewhere any moment, any day, or within a few weeks are extremely high.
There is also potentially more seismic activity increasing in Southern California. There is even a chance for a magnitude 4 or larger quake in Southern California within the next week if not anytime or anyday. There appears to be a cluster taking place in the Fillmore area.

Magnitude 5.1 - NE of Miyako, Japan
Magnitude 5.4 - Papua New Guinea
Magnitude 5.1 - Offshore El Salvador
There is still a very high potential for major earthquake activity in parts of the world. This even includes volcanic eruptions. There is also a swarm of small earthquakes taking place in Ventura County here in Southern California. There is a high chance for a magnitude 4 or larger earthquake or two any moment, any day, or within the next week or 2 so far.

A magnitude 6.5 earthquake just hit the Solomon Islands. Again, the other day, I have issued a high watch for major earthquake activity going on in the world and it has and still is continuing.

please don't hit northern california It's going to be okay. I'm here and I'm looking out for you. I'll let you know if there is anything particularly concerning going at least as best as I can. Which part of Northern California do you live? There might be a magnitude 4 or larger quake in other parts of California(besides Southern California) anytime or anyday now so far, but I'm not necessarily saying anything big in particular. Whenever the day comes when something big happens, just know to drop, cover, and hold on. Get underneath a desk or sturdy piece of furniture and cover your neck and head with your arms. Do NOT run outside. Falling debris is more likely to injure or kill people when they run around. If you're on the beach or near it, get to higher ground in case of a tsunami. Before an earthquake, make sure you have a plan together in case of one. Make sure you are able to contact family and friends and have a survival and first aid kit with you.

I know the drill of what to do in an earthquake, I've practiced it before because we get a lot around here.

I've been offline for a while and only using my phone on Twitter sometimes because I've been moving and am just now getting settled in. I moved to Lake Arrowhead. There has been a lull in activity here and mostly everywhere. The chance for more activity(at least magnitude 3+) in Southern California anytime to within the next week is again. The chances for more dangerous earthquake activity in parts of the world may also be increasing more again.
I'm also using my family computer(for other sites), but I will be getting a new laptop tomorrow. I got rid of my junkie old computer and I'll have a new one in place tomorrow.

It might not actually be acting up now here in Southern California, however, there still could be more going on at least any day now. There might also be more dangerous quake activity elsewhere in the world, however, it also might not be acting up now. At the same time, it still very well could.

There is absolutely nothing going on in terms of earthquake activity so far.
I stated in my last post that it might be completely stopped up for now, but anytime or anyday, it could end. It could even become suddenly active again within a few hours. As of right now, it is very quiet here in Southern California and very little actively happening elsewhere.
