The boys are back in a few days time for the scheduled June shows! These shows are the final run of the lengthy North American leg which kicked off in January. Festival season is also now upon us and are back into the schedule this month, as 2 festivals sit in this run (Bonnaroo and Summerfest). I have added the July 01 show as the boys take their break just after it is played, as well as it being the final show of the North American leg. It's been a pretty memorable leg of the tour with some nice song inclusions such as Charlie, Encore, Brandy and of course, Dosed (once again, thank you Zach). Little additions such as those short tease/covers of I Wanna Be Your Dog and its transition into Right On Time as well as other songs have been really cool to hear and see. Some great news for us across the planet - Bonnaroo's set will be live streamed by Redbull TV! Been a while since our last festival and its finally nice to get the opportunity to watch the boys rock the crap out of a festival again. Think it will be on Channel 3. The link is down below; www.redbull.tv/live/AP-1NMW75WNS1W11/bonnaroo-music-and-arts-festivalTo anyone on here who's attending any of these shows, have the time of your life and enjoy!
June 10 - Bonnaroo - Manchester, TN
June 20 - Bell Centre - Montreal, QC June 22 - FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton, ON
June 23 - Canadian Tire Centre - Ottawa, ON June 25 - Van Andel Arena - Grand Rapids, MI
June 28 - Summerfest - Milwaukee, WI June 30 - United Centre Arena - Chicago, IL July 01 - United Centre Arena - Chicago, IL

I was out somewhere as the boys were on stage, but managed to watch and listen on the go. Will have to sit and give it a good watch over again though. Thought it was a really solid performance, but dipped during SMK and beyond. All four of them were killing it all the way up to that point. I've seen some posts just now saying AK sounded awful, but I actually thought he sounded really good up to the point of the set that i've mentioned. Like better than the last couple of shows in May. I think he always sounds much better after the two week break, obviously well rested and re-invigorated. Maggie outro rocked out, love the slow build up to that explosive outro they do now. Its also nice for us to have a pro shot of Dog into ROT. Close to the best tease/cover of What Is Soul? this tour as well for mine. Snow at 10 really surprised me though! Josh sang his backings much lower throughout the gig. Would agree with the other comments I've seen so far and say he's potentially sick. Not too sure? What do people think?
People better get accustomed to these types of sets and should know better than to sit there and complain. We have 2 or so months of festivals approaching, some of the lesser known tracks will get rested. Just the way it goes. Thought it was a good performance though to kick us off for the month. 10 day break now before the lads play 7 shows in 11-12 days.

Ottawa. Flea apparently did a solo jam with improvised lyrics, singing about how he's tired and wants to go home. These boys need a month off and hopefully aren't burnt out. Homesickness would be tough, but i thought thats what these 12-14 day breaks were for. To recuperate and get home to see family for a little bit before the next run of shows. These thoughts have been expressed before on other tours, it has struck me as a little odd though. 6 or 7 months to go on this tour potentially, I know they will give it their all out there, I just hope they are happy for the most part of it. Their wellbeing is obviously the thing that comes first.

Grand Rapids. Apparently AK orchestrated both a minutes silence for Hillel as well as a speech for his dad, Blackie. Seems like his dad has deteriorated in health and the situation isn't looking good. Sounds like it was deep and profound with what he has said. Interesting to hear what he has said... might be on the soundboard potentially. Wishing all the best to AK and his family if this is true.
