A lot of us thought it would be the third early on as well from memory. Would have to say that Flea cartoon snippet was definitely a part of this video

Yeah I wonder if the whole thing will be animated or only parts?

Honestly I wish they would wait a bit. It seems to me like Go Robot is starting to pick up steam.

^ I agree, it seems to be a slow burner but Dark took a long time to fizzle out and Robot got little to no promotion. There is a (for my region) very representative listener-voted chart radio show that really depicts what the alternative part of the country has on their minds, in which Robot has been lingering and then jumped from twenty-something to the middle tens for a while. Looks like it might be ready for a leap soon if it gets the space.
My best guess is WB is scared they can't spam the radio stations around the holiday season with Robot being the minor hit it is right now so they just dump it and try something else. But rushing that release now just might sell Sick Love short, together with Go Robot never getting its fair chance.

I think its a poor single choice. Goodbye Angels or Encore would be so much better. I also hope this means a physical release will come out. DN and Go Robot did have promo cd's out but theyre super duper rare. It will be a miracle if we get b-sides!

I agree, they should let Go Robot breathe for a bit before the next release. I feel we're not getting any physical releases though, which would be a shame. Haven't seen any of those promo CDs either!
Maybe they went with Sick Love as it has extra promotional value of sorts with Elton playing on the track. It may entice the casual listener to give it a listen or not flick to another station when listening to the radio. I think its a good choice, but they've moved on putting this out a little too quickly.

I do believe Goodbye Angels might become a single, but Encore might become the Wet Sand of this album. Fan classic, and a ton of people thinking it could have been one of their strongest ever singles, but we'll never know. Could be possible of course, past those two songs I can't really imagine anything off the album becoming a single.
Sick Love has holiday season song all over it, that's the only reason I think it's so rushed. There hasn't been a real mellow single since Snow and Snow got huge. And thenElton John, like you mention, is a great name to attach yourself to and especially during the holiday season/winter time to go classic. Although oddly enough Sick Love gives me Summer feelings hehe, with the Caribbean style bits.

I think a fully animated video would be pretty cool actually, seems like it may be the case

Great video, wonder why no one has posted it so far, I think that girl biting of Anthony's head is supposed to be his ex.

The best one out of the three we've had, I really enjoyed that. Was waiting for the other guys to pop up and then up comes Chad with his little drum set and Josh on the TV hahaha!
