The boys jump over to Japan for the infamous Fuji Rock festival on the 24th before heading back to finish off their hectic July schedule in Montreal and of course Lollapolooza in Chicago. Set is scheduled for 9.00pm to 10.20pm (GMT+9). Hopefully we are in for a good show here, normally they smash Fuji Rock out of the park!

Hahahaha! I mean if you think about it, where do samurais come from/originate from? Makes sense to debut it in Japan Cannot wait to hear it, hopefully someone has kindly gotten footage of it! I want to hear the intro jam into Angels as well

Hahaha Transcending, that's what I thought, too. Very nice of them. I hope it's true and they didn't change the setlist last minute.

Really? Geez, thats no good. Hope it doesn't put him off playing it live in future, i mean the time signature is obscure isn't it? Thats what he struggled with when trying to write lyrics so it could mess him about early on when playing it live. He will be fine with it if he and the boys keep persisting with it

Mark shared this snippet
I read somewhere he also trashed some amps and part of the drums. The song debuts have been rough on him and the other day (big crow debut at least) they switched out Ticon too. I hope he just locks in and ignores the typical criticisms. A band like them in particular have their songs evolve as they play them more and they get better all the time.
Edit, slightly different snippet
And a snippet from Give it Away, with the mic stand suspicially missing haha

I love the opening jam, it seems to have the kind of freedom the late By the Way/early SA jams had. The melodies and ideas are crystal clear so you get to see it unfold right in front of you and you can realize how good it is, it makes for some instant kind of driving energy. Not that any of the others from this tour were bad, but it's a different setting. And then going into Angels sets a whole different frame with that deeply rising atmosphere of the song. Really hoping for good quality soon.

Started off as a variation on the normal can't stop intro jam.....prolly threw some people for a loop hahaha I'd watched it earlier today and was surprised they had a jam intro for goodbye Angels worked out, for some reason I just assumed they wouldn't jam before it.

while I think it's cool that they're changing their opener (I've never been a fan of Can't Stop) I thought that the transition was kinda rushed/not yet sorted out. Hope they'll work on it.
