The ones on the plants
We call them leaf lice
What are they doing
I always imagined that they're gently cleaning the leaves
What is their purpose in life, are they happy
I accidentally squish a lot of them
Because when you attempt to flick them off your arm they just turn to mush before you've even touched them

They suck on plants like mosquitos do on animals, a bit. And ants milk plant lice and ladybugs eat plant lice. And the plants just have it rough cause they get viruses, the bottom of a little food chain. Or did I answer that in a way too practical way? hehe, I love them cause as I kid I was obsessed with ants and read all about their plant lice ant farms, and then I became a communist for a while, that's what plant lice and ants are doing too to me personally.

no all the plant lice are virgins and they reproduce by biting off small bits of leaves and giving them the gift of life
or, as one could call it, the gift of lice
