This song has fast become a favourite of mine. I like it more than Detroit and even We Turn Red at the minute. The change up in pace they pull off so well and its just so catchy. AK's little scream on like the 4th Get it right at the end too is awesome. The live performance instrumentally sounded great and even AK sounded great when he got the lyrics right. Any one else a fan?

Yes! It baffled me so much at first but in a good way. I can imagine how amazed Anthony was when he missed a day of rehearsal and they wrote the music without him haha. I love the raw energy of the song and the way chorus and verse clash together sounded awesome at the iheart show, seems like it's a good choice to play live. Also the transition from This Tirconderoga to Encore and the rest of the album feels very powerful to me, it's my favourite sequence on the Getaway. I just get this very vivid image of driving through a tunnel very fast and then getting on a highway along the ocean at sunset It's lke a breaking point in a way, goes from something very intense and almost scary to some other state of mind, like a revelation of sorts or just getting calmer as time goes. Something like that.

Haha I like the tunnel and ocean comparison!
With Ticon only really played once this tour, does anyone think that they had high hopes for it as a live song but maybe don't enjoy it in its live form? Or AK feels it doesn't work for him vocally? Also Detroit has grown on me a lot but this still edges it personally.

I think the mellow parts are sort of messy and tricky to pull off live. Maybe they just don't play it because it's not that easy.
