gotta love mark for trolling the web - you'd think everyone takes any scoop from him with a grain of salt at this point.
dude is decently connected to the band, and shares a lot of legit info and has helped organized sharing livechilipeppers content......no small feat and very kind of him. so everyone cut him some slack for taking the piss out of everyone!
worst case scenario, you hear this song in 14 days.

Yeah you gotta hand it to him, he sucks in our fan base so well. I checked reddit just for the fume after nothing happened and i just found it funny as. He's done a lot for us as you've said man, i'm very grateful for it. People need to stop being so sensitive about what he does, you know theres a chance he's messing about when stuff like this happens.
And you're exactly right, 14 days!!!! We've all waited 5 years.... whats another 2 weeks?

Go Robot will be the next single it seems, it's featured on the sticker of the CD and you guys know what that means.
The first 5 listens or so I wasn't THAT happy with Go Robot but after a dozen listens I can say, this will kick some serious ass. In the beginning I only really liked the bridge and the outro but this song rips.

Yeah I was 50/50 after my first 2-3 listens but I love it now after consistent plays. I thought the outro needed to be longer and it felt like it cut short - but the live performances so far have shown they are gonna jam out on the outro which is pleasing. Wasn't that big of a fan of the verses either but that view has changed completely. Gonna be some serious grooving going on at live shows when its played
Definitely will be the next single

Little bit offtopic but hopefully they will release Goodbye Angels as a single after this. Anyone with me?

I would love for it to be the next single after Go Robot! I can see it being Sick Love or Encore though

Nobody on board with The Longest Wave as a single? Seems so timeless, and universal to just grab from a radio listen and then go deeper into it. Think that one and the three you guys just mentioned are the only real realistic options. (Sorry to continue the offtopic)

Think that one and the three you guys just mentioned are the only real realistic options. (Sorry to continue the offtopic) So far, excluding DN and Go Robot, the songs I feel could potentially be singles are The Longest Wave and Feasting on the Flowers. Sick Love and Encore have some potential too, but the last one might just be wishful thinking. I doubt Goodbye Angels will be released as a single, though, I just don't feel like it's something they'd do.

And then maybe Detroit, if they want to cater to the fans who miss the Give It Away-type RHCP

Definitely looks like the video will suit the disco/funky 80's vibe that the track has

Mark said the single would be released by Tuesday, together with some more info about tour dates. He was right about the tour dates last time, so wouldn't be surprised if both these are gonna be real as well. Maybe WB is trying to quickly make it into a late Summer hit? It sure seems to make more sense than an Autumn/Winter track. Winter 2016 should be for Encore hehe.

I haven't heard any evidence that it is. I'd love to be wrong though.

We would have been given some promotion on it surely if it were going to be put out physically, right? Hmm, maybe it will be a iTunes digital release thing with a B-side accompanying it?
